Workshops to focus on industrial energy efficiency

 

Six workshops that focus on industrial energy efficiency best practices are scheduled throughout the state this spring and summer. The workshops, which run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., are sponsored by Industries of the Future-WV, the West Virginia University Industrial Assessment Center and the state Division of Energy.

The workshops are designed for plant engineers, maintenance personnel and supervisors and will cover energy efficiency measures applicable to industrial facilities and building energy efficiency. They will provide a solid understanding of practice energy efficiency measures that can be applied to facilities.

Dates and locations of the workshops are:
Thursday, May 15 – Cabela’s, Tridelphia
Wednesday, June 11 – Raleigh County Convention Center, Beckley
Wednesday, June 25 – Cabela’s Charleston
Wednesday, July 16 – Holiday Inn, Martinsburg
Wednesday, Aug. 6 – WVU-P, Parkersburg
Wednesday, Sept. 17 – Marshall Memorial Student Center, Huntington
