WVDEP To Host 2017 Earth Day Celebration at The Clay Center

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s (WVDEP) Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan (REAP) and Make It Shine Program will hold its annual Earth Day celebration Thursday, April 20 at the Clay Center in Charleston from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Exhibitors will include WVDEP’s Division of Air Quality, Watershed Assessment Branch, and Youth Environmental Program, and REAP Recycling Program; the West Virginia Department of Agriculture; West Virginia American Water Company; the Three Rivers Avian Center; and several others.

More than 300 students from across the region are expected to attend the event.
