The WVDEP's Division of Air Quality is soliciting comment and will hold a public hearing on the proposed Maintenance Plan Revision for the Weirton, West Virginia Area 2006 24-Hour PM2.5 NAAQS Comprising Brooke and Hancock Counties. This revised Plan provides maintenance of the NAAQS for the second 10 years following the end of the first 10-year period. Air quality monitoring data collected in this area continues to demonstrate attainment of the NAAQS.
