Overview
The Permitting Handbook provides a comprehensive guide to understanding the processes of permit
applications. It establishes procedures for preparing, handling reviewing and approving permit applications.
It includes sections on new permits, revisions, transfers, renewals, bonding and insurance, informal
conferences,protests, subsidence, blasting, SHPO, fish and wildlife and more.
Although basically administrative in nature, this Handbook also includes technical information,
interpretations or memorandums. Additional procedures, requirements, memorandums, technical information,
etc. will be provided for inclusion, as they become available. Hyperlinks are provided throughout the
Handbook for referencing useful information.
