 Project WET Workshops

 Basic 6-hour workshop

Engaging… motivating… fun... interactive…and activity-oriented.

By attending a workshop, you will experience several activities of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide, or other publications, from a student’s perspective.

Because Project WET is a multi-disciplinary program, the DEP can design workshops to meet the needs of specific schools and teachers by focusing on particular disciplines, such as science, social studies, math, and language arts. Participants receive activity and curriculum guides and other valuable resource materials.

Scheduling

To schedule a workshop we require a minimum of 10 participants. Participants do not have to be from the same area, school, grade level, or disciplines.  See below and determine which publication you are interested in and give us a call at (304) 926-0499 x 1098 or send an email to the Program Coordinator.

 New Curriculum Guide

Project Wet has a new curriculum! The workshops are FREE, and participants will receive a book which is filled with hands-on, interactive, standards-based water education activities grade K-12. Workshops are being planned to deliver the new curriculum across West Virginia, and we need your assistance to determine the best locations for the professional developments.

Developed in coordination with early childhood experts and educators, Getting Little Feet Wet is a new addition to the the Project WET Program materials.  It is now available...
