System Upgrade Underway

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is undergoing a major overhaul of its electronic data information system. WVDEP’s new Integrated Regulatory Information System (IRIS) will benefit the agency not only in the areas of storing and retrieving its massive amounts of data, but will also improve the WVDEP’s ability to regulate industry and to make its information more accessible to the public.
